Transitions Dress-Up Day and Cowabunga Bay

Friday, September 7, 2018

September 7th is a big day for NSHS students! There are opportunities to earn up to three social points tomorrow by participating in the following activities:

1. If you come to Transitions tomorrow wearing college apparel (shirts, hats, etc.) and check in with SUNSHS by showing them your gear and filling out your social point log, you will receive one social point for doing so. SUNSHS will be taking photos of students in their apparel, so get your smiles ready — and remember to bring your social point logs!

2. If you come to the Cowabunga Bay social event from 4 to 6 p.m. and check in and out with NSHS staff, you will earn two social points. The event information is shared again below for easy reference.

Note: If you plan to come to Cowabunga Bay, please sign up with your name and campus at so that we can make sure to have a social point form there for you.

Social Points: 2 social points

Location: 900 Galleria Drive, Henderson, NV 89011

Date/Time: Friday, September 7, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Join us on Friday, September 7, after Transitions for an awesome final celebration of summer! NSHS will be at Cowabunga Bay from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., though you are welcome to stay until the park closes at 9 p.m. It's Movie Night, and they will be showing the classic film The Goonies starting at dusk. Relax with your friends in a floating tube or a beach chair while the film is shown in the Lazy Rivers Boardwalk Bay!

For those who want to attend, you can purchase your ticket at the gate for $14.99. Be sure to check in with Ms. Hageman or Ms. Capulo outside the front gate before 4:15 p.m. to get your check-in form signed. NSHS will be checking students out by the main exit from 6 to 6:30, so even if you plan to stay later, make sure to get your form signed so you get credit for your social points!

Note: Parking is $7 per car, so you are encouraged to carpool.
